HAMPTON STYLE LIVING

Our client had viewed our range of standard designs on the website and loved the “Contempo” in particular. It’s one of our larger granny flats and has been a popular design that we’ve customised for other clients to create very different styles. The original design was actually based on a 2nd-level extension (a parents’ retreat) that we built for another family in Brisbane.

Our client had a particular look in mind for her cottage and specifically wanted high ceilings, a colonial roof design, air-conditioning and a display heater, large French doors and a paved patio area instead of a deck. The end-result is a beautifully-detailed “Hampton” style granny flat. The full-sized kitchen and large, separate dining and living areas are standard features of this design.
