The Pod3

The Pod3 expands on the Pod2 by introducing a more flexible arrangement for the second bedroom. The interior layout is quite similar to the Pod2 except that the living area can be expanded or divided to form another bedroom, workspace or dining area. A large wraparound verandah has also been introduced to make full use of the available living area and a new gable roof design with cathedral ceilings adds to the feeling of spaciousness.

Like all the Pods, mixed building materials and simple geometry create a sophisticated look that suits most yards. Strategically placed windows and several sliding glass doors provide plenty of natural light and cross-ventilation. The second bedroom is fitted with two sliding glass doors which open to the outdoor living area, creating a nice indoor / outdoor feel. Raked ceilings, square-set cornices and soft bullnose wall corners plus timber or vinyl flooring and custom-designed kitchen and cupboards / wardrobes help create a very modern and inviting feel.

For a budget solution the Pod3 can be built with a sandwich panel roof and industry-standard external wall cladding.
